Niner was born September 11, 2001. It seems almost prescient that his parents names were SSF Warfare and Flight to Remember, and he happened to be due the day the towers went down. Because he was a fall baby, he did not race as a two year old. He raced outside of HF as a three and four year old, and was imported here when he was 5. In just one racing season, he earned over $1.6 million, and made his mark on the HF turf racing world. Winning both the Hollywood Gold Cup and the Breeder's Cup Mile, Niner earned the Eclipse Award for Turf Male of the Year for 2006. Niner is now a well sought after stud. His first offspring, FC The Razor's Edge, is racing GII stakes level and has qualified for the Breeder's Cup Juvenile.
