Moonstone's lines are littered with great competitors. He is predominantly Polish-bred, with some Domestic lines. He has several crosses to *Bask, and he really epitomizes the golden era of the late '90s Arabian breeding, when formidable saddleseat stallions were sweeping across breeding U.S. breeding barns. His grandsires are MHR Nobility and Afire Bey V (Park and English Pleasure champions, respectively). He has lines to Le Fire, Elimar, Huckleberry Bey, and Aquinor. What's truly incredible about Moonstone's bloodlines, however, is the strong Arabian matriarchal influence. Moonstone boasts crosses to the great Diamonds On Fire (dam of several National Champions); A Love Song (another dam of National Champions); Benraz Sophia (dam of Regional and Scottsdale Champions); and the great *Elkana, a pure Polish mare imported to the U.S. who was the U.S. National Champion mare in '72, and who is the dam of National Champions herself.
